My Process
My main considerations for Improvements!
When evaluating Improvements, I use 4 main criteria, similar to how I worked as a Product Manager. Starting with improving the customer experience, validating the financials, especially the size of the impact, then how does this position the product vs. Competition.
Customer
It starts with Customer experience and satisfaction. Designing and developing features that customers find valuable.
Financial
No matter how much customers (or the sales team) want new features, they must generate positive revenue and ROI.
Impact
Improvements take time to develop and cause user adjustment. Improvements need to be worth the effort.
Competition
Where is the product now, compared to competition? How can we improve it and offer a superior customer experience.
